Then this is your chance, because we are looking for a Field Engineer like you. In this position, you will be busy maintaining theaters and assembling and commissioning hoists, chain hoists and lifting platforms. Examples include:

• Installing power cabinets and control cabinets;
• Setting up frequency controllers, load cells, encoders and PLCs, among other things;
• The commissioning of high-end control computers;
• Resolving faults in new and existing systems.

Who are we?

We are Dutch Theatre Systems & Services (in short: DTS²) and are specialists in the design and installation of automated theater hoisting and lifting installations. This includes winch systems, orchestra box lifters and computer controls, steel structures, walkways, lighting bridges, roller attics and auditoriums. The installations that we install are equipped with high-end control computers and meet high security requirements. Our work often takes place in theaters across the Netherlands and Belgium. DTS² is part of the VRI Tech Group, a group of specialized powertrain companies.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic employee who enjoys working on the latest control techniques on a daily basis. An employee who likes to be away from home regularly three days/nights a week to stay in the city where the theater is located and who has no problem running emergency services.

• You have an MBO diploma, in Electrical Engineering or similar;
• You have some experience as a technician/mechanic in a technical field (e.g. aviation, engines, electrical engineering, shipping);
• You are a team player who can give priority to teamwork in addition to individual work;
• You are motivated to work in a dynamic environment that is constantly evolving (technology and methods);
• You are not afraid of heights and have a valid driver's license.
