Collaboration and flexibility

You decide what you do in-house and what you want us to maintain.

Maintenance and inspection of theater installations — both mechanical and electrical — can broadly be compared to the well-known MOT inspection of passenger cars. However, with one exception: if you have your theater installations maintained and inspected by DTS², you choose a certain level of service yourself.

With our first-line service, there are plenty of opportunities for you - with support and training from our side - to do a large part of the work yourself.

Very simple: what you can't or don't want to do yourself, we'll do for you. We're open to any responsible form of cooperation and thinking along with the customer is almost a natural part of our long-term relationship.

Very important, for you and for us, is clarity in maintenance and service, as this considerably clarifies the question about safety and liability. Although this is a grey area, strong cooperation between you as the customer and DTS² as the technical maintenance company makes it very transparent.

Maintenance and repair

The goal is to ensure a long lifespan of the systems

It happens that the technical lifespan of some components have been exceeded, something is damaged or something is about to fail in the foreseeable future.

In these situations, preventive maintenance is required to lose as little production time as possible and to keep the installation's uptime as high as possible.

By carrying out preventive maintenance regularly, you will be ahead of defects in the short term and the lifespan of the installations will be extended. Practice shows us that by carrying out minor repairs in time or making minor adjustments, major repairs with high costs can often be prevented.

In the case of maintenance and repair, renewal and service, we always tell you what the expected costs will be first. We are clear about this, so you will never be faced with unpleasant surprises.

MYMB

Clear basis for planning — using long-term maintenance budgets

In order to get a good picture of the maintenance of the real estate and installations in theaters, it is an increasingly recurring wish of theaters and municipalities to receive a Multi-Year Maintenance Budget (MYMB).

An MYMB gives you insight into the expected maintenance costs of your installations, both in the short and long term. In our case, the installations include the draft walls, control systems and lifting systems with accessories within the theaters. We map these out in detail and then calculate how much needs to be reserved to maintain those installations. We do this, among other things, on the basis of the expected lifespan of the various components used.

On your request, we can send you an MYMB for an example installation. In addition to the expected lifespan, this budget also includes the costs of replacing these parts (e.g. encoders on the winches). Replacement costs are specified by component group.
