In the position of Field Service Engineer, you have a varied job where the customer and service are central. Your activities can be roughly divided into two main tasks, namely “Projects” and “Service and Maintenance”. The project activities relate to new and renovation projects. For example, you will be busy assembling and commissioning hoists, chain hoists and lifting platforms, among other things. The service-related activities consist of maintaining the installations of more than 100 theaters. These theaters regularly work at heights. The work takes place throughout the Netherlands, but we also have projects in Belgium and Germany. You will carry out your work from our locations in Groningen and Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, the management will take place from our office in Groningen.

Who we are:

We are Dutch Theatre Systems & Services (in short: DTS²) and are specialists in the design and installation of automated theater hoisting and lifting installations. This includes winch systems, orchestra box lifters and computer controls, but also steel structures, walkways, lighting bridges, roller attics, auditoriums, etc. The installations that we install are equipped with high-end control computers and meet high security requirements. Our field of work extends to Western Europe. DTS² is part of the VRI Tech Group.

About you:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer who enjoys working independently. Do you recognize yourself in the points below? Then we are looking for you!

• You have an MBO course with a technical background;
• You can work independently as well as in a team and are widely deployed for service purposes;
• You are not afraid of heights and you have no objection to being away from home for a few days in a row;
• You have a B driving license
• You have or are willing to obtain a VCA-VOL certificate;
• You live in the Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht area
